Adult Staff

Thank you for your interest in being a part of the staff for Crusaders Camp! We look forward to working with you.  These roles collectively contribute to the success of the Christian children's camp by ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience for campers while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to a sectional director or the Children's Ministry Director

Important Information:
1. Adult Staff must be registered for camp and all fees paid.  Due to the cost of supplies purchased in advance and workers hired, all registrations are non-refundable.
2. Adult Staff must have a completed Adult Staff Camp Consent Form. This form must be signed by your pastor, so please arrange for this to be done prior to arriving for camp.
3. Adult Staff must have completed the Protect My Ministry Training that will be emailed to me as well as have a completed background check.  
4. The following positions are available to apply for.  While we know that you might have a preferred position you might be asked to fill multiple roles while on staff.
Kitchen Staff:
Prepares and serves nutritious meals for campers and staff.
Ensures kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards/
Assists with menu planning, inventory management, and dietary accommodations.
Provides support to campers and staff regarding meal options and dietary needs.
Cleaning Staff:
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the camp facilities.
Performs routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
Ensures restrooms, dining areas, and common spaces are kept clean and presentable.
Assists with waste disposal and recycling efforts to maintain a clean and eco-friendly environment.
Works collaboratively with other staff members to uphold cleanliness standards and enhance the overall camp experience.
Maintenance Staff:
Maintains camp facilities, grounds, and equipment.
Performs routine repairs, upkeep tasks, and safety inspections.
Addresses maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
Assists with setup and breakdown of camp activities and events.
Security Staff:
Ensures the safety and security of campers, staff, and property.
Monitors access to camp premises and enforces camp policies.
Responds to emergencies and addresses safety concerns.
Collaborates with camp leadership and local authorities as needed.
Dorm Chaperones:
Supervises campers in dormitories to maintain order and safety.
Provides guidance and support to campers regarding manners and behavior.
Assists campers with personal needs and fosters a positive dormitory environment.
Addresses any behavioral issues or conflicts with care and understanding.
Concessions Staff:
Operates concession stands and sells snacks, beverages, and merchandise.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of concession areas.
Handles transactions accurately and provides friendly customer service.
Enhances the camp experience by offering a variety of food and beverage options.
